Our vintner Pat Roney and winemaking team, Marco DiGiulio and Glenn Hugo, have forged decades-long relationships with growers throughout the valley.
We have cultivated friendships with these families whose ancestors were among the first to plant in Napa and whose vineyards we have fallen in love with. Each vintage, we are proud to select fruit from the best sites ranging from mountaintop Cabernet Sauvignon to valley floor Sauvignon Blanc to reflect wines that are authentically Napa.
Pride is at the heart of our relationships: these winegrowers are proud of their fruit and what we do with it. We acknowledge their efforts by respecting their name, their business and the grapes they grow by producing wine that can only be described as authentic and consistent.
WINES CURRENTLY IN STOCK
GIRARD CABERNET SAUVIGNON - Ripe, brooding and dense, the nose reveals hints of cocoa, raspberry and black plum. On the palate, this well-structured wine reveals red and black berry fruit, wet stone-like minerality and savory dried herbs. Palate coating and full-bodied, this wine has a luxuriously long finish.
GIRARD ZINFANDEL ROSE - A bouquet of flowers and red berries on the nose, the palate is lively with fresh strawberry flavors lifted with a kiss of zingy lemon and red plum. The finish is clean and refreshing.
GIRARD PETITE SHIRAZ - The nose reveals concentrated aromas of blackberry, jasmine tea, dusty earth and tobacco. The palate is dense with flavors of jammy blackberry, raspberry and fig. The finish reveals essences of oak influence—spice, vanilla and a savory hint of barrel toast. The tannins are bold, ripe and integrated, creating a lingering and mouth-coating finish.
